Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using MiljöTaxi Sundsvall's services.

1. About MiljöTaxi Sundsvall

MiljöTaxi Sundsvall AB ("MiljöTaxi", "we", "us") is a licensed eco-friendly taxi and ride-hailing company operating in Sundsvall and surrounding areas in Västernorrland, Sweden. We provide transportation services via our mobile application, website, and telephone booking. By using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Booking & Reservations

Bookings can be made through the MiljöTaxi app, our website (miljötaxi.se), or by calling 060-584 58 44. A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation via SMS, email, or in-app notification. We reserve the right to decline a booking if vehicles are unavailable or if the request violates our policies. Pre-booked rides should be made at least 30 minutes in advance. Immediate ride requests are subject to driver availability.

3. Pricing & Payment

MiljöTaxi offers fixed prices for many common routes. The fare is communicated before the ride begins and is based on the distance, time, and vehicle type selected. Payment can be made via Swish, bank card, cash, or invoice (for business customers with agreements). Prices include VAT. MiljöTaxi reserves the right to adjust pricing. Any price changes will be communicated via the app and website. Surge pricing may apply during periods of exceptionally high demand.

4. Cancellations & No-Shows

You may cancel a booking free of charge up to 15 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. Cancellations made less than 15 minutes before pickup may incur a cancellation fee. If you fail to appear at the pickup location within 5 minutes of the driver's arrival (no-show), you may be charged a no-show fee. The driver will attempt to contact you before marking a ride as a no-show.

5. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate pickup and destination information
  • Be ready at the pickup location on time
  • Treat the driver and vehicle with respect
  • Wear a seatbelt during the ride
  • Not smoke or consume alcohol in the vehicle
  • Report any issues or lost items promptly

6. Our Responsibilities

MiljöTaxi commits to:

  • Providing safe, reliable, and eco-friendly transportation
  • Maintaining clean and well-serviced vehicles
  • Employing licensed and vetted drivers
  • Handling your personal data in compliance with GDPR
  • Addressing complaints and feedback promptly

7. Liability

MiljöTaxi is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. Our liability for any claim is limited to the fare paid for the specific ride in question.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
